I spent the evening of 5/9/2021 in the ER and was unimpressed with the attention that I received. When asked how my pain rated I answered with 9.5. I was given nothing for the pain so the pain from a damaged tendon raged. After an ultrasound I was informed that I didn't have a blood clot and released. All the while my husband and 10year old son were being treated as if they had the plague. The woman at the admissions desk had no idea how to treat the public with any form of human decency. One of the rudest people anyone would want to meet. I worked in the medical field for over 25 years and there is not a doubt in my mind had I treated anyone with that level of rudeness I would have lost my job immediately. The security guard that evening was still wet behind the ears and just as rude and disrespectful as the woman. Before speaking to someone as if you are God make sure you know what you are talking about, a policy is a policy but policy does not take AWAY a disabled persons right . If one is disabled because of decreased lung functions and wearing a mask could and would cause compactions then your mask policy can not be enforced. Their staff should be be schooled how to address disabled persons with respect and less rudeness. How will your hospital treat the people you are there to service on June 21,2021 when the Governor's mask mandate is no longer in effect. Please remember a mandate is just that it IS NOT LAW. 1 star is the least I could give without it you cannot post .This hospital leaves much to be desired!
