First time dining at Tempura House Boca Raton. 7 P.M. Saturday evening the restaurant was fully booked with guests enjoying sushi, Chinese dishes and Hibachi.

I tried the Teriyaki salmon on a bed of thin brown noodles. The fish was fresh, delicious and a huge thick slice meaning that fish was enormous in length. Nothing like the farmed version of salmon that s quite thin.

My husband ate Thai Curry Platter as pictured of sea scallops, jumbo shrimp, thin slices of beef and chicken. Both seafood ingredients were fresh and delicious as well as the beef and chicken. The included vegetables were nicely flavored. The curry sauce was not spicy hot as one would suspect. On a scale of 1-5, the sauce was a 2. Other family members with us ate 12-20 sushi items chosen from the menu f.ex. salmon eggs with a raw quail egg, California roll and other sushi. They said their meal was good.

Our server was attentive which we appreciated but the kitchen was a little slow in bringing out our main courses. They were very busy. Not a problem for us that evening. We will return there another time.
