I try to bypass this huge park on weekends and holidays (crowds of people are not very attractive to me), but from the park you can walk to Sparrow Hills along the promenade, crowds are rowing along the way. There is a pond where you can ride a catamaran. Weekday cheaper. 30 minutes was more than enough for us. The park itself is neat and tidy. There is a summer cinema - a cool idea, but I never got to movies.
