I must say I have mixed emotions about this place....

I must say I have mixed emotions about this place. However my mom at 82 had a large part of large intestine removed and reattached there .She was in intensive care for 2 weeks and no one thought she would come out. They took so good care of her that she lived a wonderful life till 2 month from 90.I sent the intensive care unit flowers. Another time, they were able to catch three veins to her heat that had looked like threads and had her immediately sent to Kanawha City and they put three stints in that day! So I am fairly confident that they have good doctors there. I think they get a bad rap cause they do not treat those without insurance very nice. Which is sad cause any care they would give is a rite off .The Government ends up paying it in lost tax dollars anyway. I think the whole organization is being revamped and they are going through branruptcy.So hopefully they will become the hospital they are cable of being.AND THE ONLY WAY TO REALLY GET attention in the emergency room is to go by ambulance. But you will still wait 12-15 hours in triage to get a room if you are being admitted. I don't think any hospital is set up to be a fast in OUT place to go. No one should expect it. Cause it is not going to happen.
