I would recommed looking for a better facility. The counselors/therapists/and doctors were great but you only see them once a day for less than 6 minutes. Two rooms in the open unit contained -BLACK MOLD- which was not adressed. My fellow patient stated she was in her moldy room since Tuesday and was unable to shower because of the mold. My bathroom also had black mold which I didn't bother to report because the nursing staff pretty much ignores the patients.
Nurses Lisa and Gwen were an absolute horror for no reason. Nurse Lisa is a sadist. She smiled when telling me I would never be moved to the open unit (I was later told I belonged in when I was admitted), which caused me to have a mental breakdown. She then uneccesarily sedated me (all while smiling) for having a breakdown she directly caused - my significant other was to be notified for this and they never were. Nurse Gwen is lacking in bedside manner, she was rude to every patient I spoke to at the facility - including myself.

Overall I would say it was a traumatic experience that does not help someone who is already suicidal.
I do hold the doctors/therapists/and counselors in high regard, but I think you should be able to see them for a longer period of time or multiple times a day.
