The brunch buffet used to be excellent, but over the past few years it has declined. There seems to be not as great a variety. The biscuits were cold on a plate, rather than in a steamer, and there was no gravy, even though there was sausage on the buffet. The rare roast beef had little taste.
The restaurant isn't inexpensive, and little things like misspelled words on the menu or trays give a bad impression (i.e. Bake Tilapia instead of Baked Tilapia, Grill Cheese instead of Grilled Cheese, not knowing how to spell Chicken Stroganoff).
This restaurant is unique. A winding driveway takes you through woods and creates the impression of traveling back in time to a World War II airfield in a converted farmhouse. The ambience is wonderful and the staff is excellent. Top notch. They are, unfortunately, not enough to counteract the rest.
