This is a beautiful church and it's got the most loveliest minister, Jonathan Mead.

I previously came to this church three years ago on Friday 18th August 2017, for the funeral service of my mother in law and have returned this Tuesday the 26th day of January 2021 for my father in law's funeral service during the Coronavirus pandemic.

On that occasion in August 2017, the church was packed and heaving with several hundreds of mourners and sympathisers filling every available room and space in the church, and the back hall and still with many stood outside unable to get in.

Now, fast forward to January 2021, and the world has been gripped by a deadly pandemic called Coronavirus almost a year previously that has killed millions of people across the globe including my 93 year old father in law, who also contracted the Covid-19 virus and died on 1st January 2021, from its resultant complications. So for this funeral in 2021, new guidelines have been introduced by the government, to try and curb the spread of the Coronavirus, and this limits funerals attendees to a maximum of just 30 people.

I will certainly be returning to this church again, as soon as it is safe to do so as a way of thanking them for their humanity during our periods of grief.
