Awful. Had appointment with Dr Chawla. Not my usual doctor. I have complex physical issues, and she treated me like a drug addict/ liar/ mentally unstable. Even accused me of lying in the consult. Felt worthless after consult, made complaint to business Manager Lucy Shearer who informed me that she would take it seriously, but two days later all I got was a vague email, no apology, no help with my medical issues. On their brochure, they said if you are not happy, to go to the Health Commission which I did. In revenge, Lucy has banned me from the practice, took away my appointment with another doctor without my permission and has pushed me off their app. That is a lot of vitriol from them because I made an honest complaint. Actually, it is illegal and unethical to refuse someone medical care, and they did this by taking away my apportionment without my permission, and banning me from the practice. This is one nasty practice, I was a patient since, 2009, made one single complaint, and now they have gone hard on me, and would probably kick me in the street if they saw me. In my opinion, you would get more care in an abattoir. Hopefully the Health Commission fines them for this unethical and illegal conduct. Doctors by their oath cannot refuse treatment, but this is what they have done. Avoid this practice, especially Dr Chawla and Lucy Shearer.
