My wife and I purchased a new Jeep Wrangler from T...

My wife and I purchased a new Jeep Wrangler from Troncalli and we were very pleased with their customer service and their willingness to work with us on the price. Our salesman was Chandler Johnson and he did an exceptional job explaining everything to us and was the most honest car salesman we have ever dealt with. We will definitely be return customers to Troncalli!

***Edit***
I wrote the above review a little to early (this was my error; I should have waited until the sale was final - lesson learned). Everything I said above about our Salesman, Chandler Johnson, still stands. He was great to work with and he did an exceptional job for my wife and I. The story changed once we left Chandler and were turned over to the finance department. The deal that we had agreed too fell apart because they made us the deal on the wrong vehicle! Good thing I caught this before signing any binding paperwork. They apologized for the mistake and stated they had entered the wrong stock number. Wrong model, wrong color, etc). So in short, we were told the deal we all agreed too was now off the table and if we wanted the Jeep we had selected (and test drove) we would have to come up with an additional $3,500 +/-.

We explained to them that we were not willing to pay the additional $3,500 +/- for their mistake (we had a deal) but we understand mistakes do happen and we were willing to go up another $1,000 to get the vehicle we wanted. However, we told them we would not go a penny more than an additional $1,000 on our end. The finance person came back and said the best they could do is have us pay an additional $490 +/- (on top of our additional $1,000). We explained that our bottom line was the additional $1,000 (keep in mind, they made the mistake on the original deal). They told us they could not make it work, they were not willing to drop the price the remaining $490 +/- to make the sale, and we needed to shake hands and part ways. And you know what, that s exactly what we did.

The next day the sales manager (I believe it was the sales manager) called us to say that they could NOW get to the number we wanted with one catch - we had to finance the Jeep through them. Long story short, my wife and I went to a different dealership the day after we visited Troncalli and we made a great deal on the Jeep we wanted. To top it off, we ended up getting the Jeep we wanted for a lower price than our original negotiated price with Troncalli and we got 2-more years on our Powertrain Warranty!

In closing, this post isn t meant to bash anyone. I don t think Troncalli is a bad dealership but there are others out there that are more willing to negotiate to gain a new and long term returning customer. Although Troncalli was willing to work with us some on the price, we had a done deal and all it would have taken was a handshake to seal the deal but they lost a substantial sale over $490 +/-.

My advice to Troncalli is to honor your commitments; even if you make or made a mistake. I am in commercial construction where customer service is extremely important. Without our clients, our businesses do not succeed. They are the ones that pay your bills. In the future, if you make a mistake, own up to it and make it right for the customer.

PS - Chandler, I think you would be a great fit for the other dealership we visited and purchased our Jeep from. I believe they are hiring. You have my number if you are interested. Either way, good luck with all future sales. You are a great salesman and an all around good guy!

In Response to Your Response: As an FYI - my wife and I purchased a 2019 Rubicon for $1,150 less than your lowest price on a Sahara. I can post pictures if you d like.
