I am proud to say that I have been a host family with CLLC for many years because it is, in my opinion, a very professional and supportive organization that is sensitive to the needs of both international students and host families. The students in my home have always spoken very highly of the staff and the program at the Ottawa campus and in my own interactions with staff, especially the social worker Jacyln Delmore, I have continued to feel supported and valued as a host parent. Most important, communication from the school is excellent (e.g. flight delays, changes to the program) and the atmosphere at the school is friendly, caring, and welcoming, creating a safe and respectful environment conducive to learning and making new friends from all over the world. I would recommend CLLC in Ottawa to international students and host families wanting to experience the wonderful cultural exchange and the rewards it brings to both.
