I would advise against purchasing anything from Clifton Charles (or any subsequent clothing company involving Clifton Berry). After receiving 3 shirts and 1 suit, that I was happy with, I ordered two additional suits spending $1,400. After not receiving the suits when promised, I spent the next several months trying to get Clifton Berry to commit to a delivery date. Ultimately I expressed my desire for a refund - which he agreed to provide. He claimed that the company switching manufacturers was the cause of the delay. However the refund never came and Clifton went silent, even after I got his business partner involved in our email threads. After obtaining no resolution, I filed a small claims suit against the company and emailed a copy to both owners. Clifton's business partner immediately responded. That same day I received a full refund. I never heard from Clifton Berry - not even to apologize. This started 06 March 2014 (date I purchased the suits) and ended with receiving the refund on 03 February 2015. The last correspondence I had with Clifton Berry was 18 Aug 2014, almost 7 months prior to finally receiving a refund. After watching the '7 On Your Side' video clip, I feel fortunate. Clifton said he's having issues with his business partner. Based on my experience, it was definitely the other way around.
