I live in Austin and was offered an interview with Endeavor Marketing for what was advertised on the job listing as a Marketing Assistant. The interview started out well but then I started piecing things together and came to realize this was a SALES position. Not just sales, but setting up in public places and stopping people to ask for donations for nonprofits. What about this has anything to do with being a Marketing Assistant? I stopped the girl interviewing me and straight up asked, "Is this a sales job? The advertisement was for a marketing assistant position". I could tell I stunned her and she immediately started stammering over her words. The interview ended shortly thereafter. I have never been conned like this. Endeavor Marketing uses deceptive MARKETING practices in regards to their job postings. Beware - this is a fledgling "marketing company" whose sole activity is legitimately setting up tables in public and begging strangers to donate to non profits. That's it. There is no "getting leads" and making campaigns. This company is a farce.
