I was rudely harassed and threatened by an officer...

I was rudely harassed and threatened by an officer tonight after coming home from a tough night visiting a sick family member. It was 4:30am, I double parked my vehicle with my hazards on and ran inside to get my other car keys. It didn't even take me a whole minute to do so. Due to an incident a few weeks prior where my car was vandalized while parked outside of my complex . I didn't feel comfortable parking my car on the public street. I had an older car parked in front of my building and intended to switch my cars, parking the car that I was driving in the safer parking space and moving the older car onto the street. In doing so an officer approached me and rather than asking if I'm ok. He was very rude in telling me that I was wrong, breaking the law for double parking, and was blocking people from getting out. (There was no one else out there at that hour) He then threatened to write me a citation. Its 4am and I'm a 5' female by myself! Was my own safety not important? I wanted to explain to him my situation but the way he approached me and acted towards me, it was pointless. I thought I would feel safe with the police presence at the late hour but instead I was afraid that if I didn't just accept his rudeness then it would be bad for me. Officers are to protect and serve. Instead he treated me like a criminal. It was very upsetting and uncalled for. P.G. County police really have to do better with the community that count on them and support them.
