After reading several reviews, my experience falls right in line with the rest of them...Around September of 2017 my graphics card died, thus leaving me without a computer to do pricing research of any kind. I am a Prime member and do almost all purchases through them. I explained my situation to the sales person who was extremely knowledgeable and helped steer me towards what I needed. I informed him of my Prime membership, at which point he told me that the price was the same. I purchased the EVGA GTX 1060 3gb, brought it home, installed it and immediately went online to check the ratings for the card. At this point, I learned that Prime's price was $65 less and that I could get it in 3 days. I called (the same day of purchase) and talked to the customer service manager and asked what they would do to rectify the situation. I was actually told that I was "out of luck but could return it with a return fee".
I then ordered it from Amazon, got and installed it 3 days later. I returned the one purchased at VGH with near pristine packaging and then informed that they refund ONLY to an "In store" credit thus guaranteeing that they get their money anyway!
I was lied to, purposely mislead about another product that did NOT do what I meticulously explained to the salesperson as to what I needed. (I even had the salesperson explain it back to me to verify his understanding.) I was then told that I was out of luck by the person in charge and then mislead AGAIN about the product return.
It's been 6 months and even though they have $53 of mine (I was also told that that credit does NOT have a time limit) I do not intend to ever return to the store again. There are other computer stores in the area and I tell everyone to try them instead of VGH.
