Haven't been in a couple of years due to cost of bringing a family can exceed the amount of joy. Yeah I know, how's that right, well at $11.50 for a single turkey leg, $3 sodas, $9 adult beverages and $11 for a large slice of cake... it can add up quick! Not to mention the commemorative stein one has to have at $39 only to find that the craftsmanship is kinda shotty and all sales are final (the glaze wasn't the best and cracks are showing in the pottery). Bathrooms are absolute filth, one would think that the privies in the 1500's might have better hygiene then present day at the festival. Ample parking, look for discounts on admission tickets, save where you can. I will say that the characters and other staff played excellent roles, very talented!
