On April 3, 2017 I crossed the threshold of the operating room. Seven hours of surgery to remove, or rather eradicate, the deep endometriosis that had also infiltrated organs such as the left kidney and a piece of intestine and a band of nerves. I went out with a temporary ileostomy. I was lucky enough to get to know this structure and put myself in the hands of doctors but, first of all, extraordinary people. Due thanks to the doctor who followed me and still follows me, Dr. Ianieri, as well as to those who were with him in the operating room, Dr. Pontrelli and Dr. Scarperi, highly qualified gynecologists and a stratospheric humanity. The staff of Dr. Ceccaroni is at very high levels for study, knowledge and sensitivity of his work. The post-operative path was not easy, but I knew it. After seven months I started to exercise again and sometimes it doesn't even seem true to me to have faced a mountain.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EXIST.
