From start to finish, this place was a Sunday well spent. We went with my aunt who has only been to Ottawa once. The cafeteria had a nice variety of foods for all diets. Great vegetarian options and reasonably priced. Now, this is all coming from someone who has never really been an art fan.. The photographs from throughout Canadian history were just fascinating... you could easily spend 10 minutes on each one.. The inuit art was breathtakingly haunting, the international section had some incredibly historic works and boasted such famous artists as Monet and Van Gogh.. the gift boutique had some very unique and interesting items but was a little on the expensive side i found.. we got there with only 3 hours to go before closing so next time, i would allot myself at least 6 hours...
