Today, Wednesday 14 Feb about 10:58am I rang the company for the first time to make inquiry about their product. Spoke with a guy named Scott. with whom I specifically inquired about a water dispenser which kept water cold without been connected to a power source. He informed me all of their product range required to be plugged into a power source. Up to this point, the experience with Scott over the phone was polite and pleasant. When Scott established I was not prepared to go into their company office in Onehunga, Auckland which he insisted I should do by setting up a meeting time with him, he then told me and I quote here, "you should pass over our company and look elsewhere, we cannot help you and I need to go now." This statement by Scott I felt was impolite and unnecessary. While I can understand his disappointment for not getting an ideal opportunity for a business deal from me I strongly believe he should educate himself on how best to represent his company's interest at all times. There is no need to become dismissive or rude with the inquirer. Always make an effort to exercise a better sense of judgement by listening, understanding and respecting the inquirer's point of view and choice.
