My son purchased a seat unit for his Ram pickup truck in 2021. The unit had been back to the installation shop two times per year for problems. Seat would stop functioning and left him stranded several times. IN January of 2025 the unit stopped working when it was fully extended out of the vehicle leaving his stranded again. We had the unit removed and returned to the installer. The unit was shipped back to adaptive as the installer said it would be best for them to repair as it is their product. We were told that it was not repairable, and the warranty had expired. As of 8-1-2025 we are still not able to use the vehicle. They said the replacement cost would be $18k. Hard to believe a product that never worked from the beginning is not back by the manufacturer!!
