Large open spaces for most animals. Much better than a zoo. Options of walking, bus, boat or own car (we did the first 3). However all the information labels are only in Dutch, and guides on bus and boat, although very animated, also spoke exclusively in Dutch. The people running this place might want to consider that non-Dutch-speaking tourists account for a good part of their income, and as such consider updating at least their information labels. Belatedly found out that there is an app with an English audio guide - a step in the right direction.
