We stayed at the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea in July 2019. Our entire stay was flawless. We opted to upgrade to two Ishtar villas at a fantastic price. Kempinski is easily the best hotel in the dead sea area so far. It is pricier than the other resorts in the area, but it is definitely worth every penny. We felt welcomed from the minute we walked in. The staff makes this hotel what it is. Majd Khudair at the reception was amazing and so were all the pool staff who were at our beck and call. The breakfast buffet is super, Ashur the Italian restaurant by the pool is beautiful as well, and if you happen to go there, you MUST watch the sunset at the Sumerian bar.
