We called the morning of the scheduled delivery to find out an estimate of the delivery time. We were told that we would be called back with the information. We were not called. We called again and were told that the delivery people were not responding to their calls. This began at about 10 AM and by 3 PM the owners had no idea of a delivery time. We called again at 4ish and the woman who answered the phone again still had no idea of a delivery time. I told her that we had plans to go out and that we would be around till about 5 PM but if they came afterwards we woiuld not be home. I called one more time and was told that the men were not making a delivery to us as I had said that I might be home or not if they got to us after 5 PM after waiting all day. I was furious that no one called us to tell us. The woman with whom I spoke said that a delivery person
quite in the middle of the day. She said that her men would be out until late in the evening and that we were too far away to make a delivery.
An offer was made to deliver first thing the next day but I told them to forget about it. I did not trust them.
If you run a business and your employees are not reachable and when they are you do not let customers know of their decision not to make a delivery, this is not a business I want to use. Waiting home all day long is not okay especially when you know as the business staff that there is a problem.
