Unprofessional and rather unethical. I called Shirazi Law to find out if they handled cases for Visa refusal and I was told yes by the secretary/assistant. I asked her if they handled cases for US Consulate in Islamabad and was told yes again and that I should go ahead and make the appointment. While making the appointment I was asked the Consulate and the reason my parents' visa was refused for.
The Attorney (Ms Shirazi) exactly knew what I was coming for. However, during the appointment she told me she wasn't familiar with the Consulate so I should go with someone who is. Why wasn't I told this over the phone when I specifically asked for it. It was a complete waste of my time and 150 dollars on top for the pleasure. You would think a law firm would not deliberately mislead people into coming in so they can charge them over the top appointment fees. Save your time and money.
