My recommendation is not to place your family members their. Over the last year there have been staff cutbacks and the service has gone down hill. There are not enough staff for the size of the residence. The number of activities has been cut and the quality of the housekeeping has gone down. The staff are friendly and do their best but are overworked. The nursing staff are friendly but the coordination and training leaves much to be desired. The food is very repetitive and not very good. They advertise what they are serving for dinner and sometimes do not have enough for everyone and substitute it for something else. The more pressing concern is the issuing of medicine there have been times were the medicine has not been given and other times we have had to argue with the nurse to get the medicine because they do not know what has to be given.
