My mother was given a ride from Ambitrans in Punta...

My mother was given a ride from Ambitrans in Punta Gorda with 'Brittany'. The company was told my mother uses a wheelchair, the ride showed up and was not wheelchair friendly. After waiting for the correct vehicle to arrive 'Brittany' did not secure that my mother on the wheelchair lift. My mother rolled off of the lift and fell backwards out of her chair. She now has TWO STAPLES IN THE BACK OF HER HEAD, SEVERE BRUISING AND A CUT UP TONGUE. As her insurance will only cover one ride, Ambitrans is insisting she pay for the TWO rides, INCLUDING THE RIDE TO THE HOSPITAL THAT THEY CAUSED. If you care for your elderly or disabled family member at all DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The other drivers that my mother rode with were friendly enough, according to her. One made mention that they knew 'Brittany' did not follow safety standards regularly. And that she had been a trainer of other drivers. This is UNSAFE. DO NOT USE AMBITRANS.
