When you embark on a journey that requires a family law attorney, you re already stressed. Court can be a scary process so you re looking for an attorney that s capable of not only filing paperwork, but one that s also capable of addressing your individual concerns and guiding you through the maze that is our civil court system. I am here to warn you that Ms. Putman is NOT that attorney. Consistent only in her inconsistency, be prepared to be constantly stressed because you have no idea what s going on with your case because she s missed every single phone call appointment that was scheduled. Ms. Putman provides a clear cut window for her response time but never adheres to it and acts bothered as if you weren t paying her to provide a service. Worst of all, she gives you the impression that she understands the way forward and is executing your wishes, asking for the specifics required to file this or that then simply does not file it and provides zero explanation of why it was delayed or when she plans to move things along, further dragging out already lengthy processes. What do you get when you request a status update? You guessed it. Silence. If you are looking for someone in your corner to get the job done and keep you in the loop along the way, I cannot stress this enough, do not hire this woman. One star because she was very prompt in her response when I requested to terminate our contract, which was a refreshing change of pace.
