Things have changed since I last went about 5 yrs ...

Things have changed since I last went about 5 yrs ago. So I got the value price on a weekday. Their lowest price. I wanted to take my kids to meet characters, see the parade and fireworks like how I saw when I went all those other times. But no! Nothing. Just rides. No Mickey and Minnie. We saw 4 princesses. No parade, no fireworks. We left the park as soon as it got dark. So now I understand. The weekends and holidays are pricier but you will probably get more out of it such as characters coming out, parade, and firework shows.
