Stunning. So much history wrapped up here. Crown jewels were stunning. At busy times there are long queues but don't let that deter you as they go down quickly.
I would recommend the tours with the beefeaters if you want to learn more about the tower and it's history but walking around by yourself there is plenty of information to read.
