I went with my family on a crowded, hot day and we were there for about 3 hours. It was interesting, but I would have needed to spend more time there to really get a better sense of the history of the place. We felt like we were pushed through the rooms quickly by the pressure of the people behind us, leaving us little time to read all the plaques and whatnot. We waited in line for like 15 minutes to get into the room with "The Rack" and we probably spent 2 minutes in there because it just didn't seem like there was much to see, and I knew everyone else in line was being tortured by the sun while waiting to get in.
