Some one I know recommended, this Hotel & mentioned it was a good
one and because He had stayed here many times he thought he could get
me a Better than, just good rate, for one in Dana harbor. Since I have family members from out of state coming out to visit at all times of the year, thought it would be a good chance to See a new place. Just had my Mom, and two of my Sisters within the weeks visit. Kinda had things to do first, but Amir at the front desk, nice enough guy, assured me he could give us a good rate and that he was off at 11, checked in late, after 11:00 pm, that"s when I met Lynne, She wasn't able to give us that great of a rate but I was pretty much too tired, and already committed, to not driving home over an hour away. After all the paper work and registration is done and we request a Room on the First Floor because Tim is still recovering from a stroke and he cannot walk very well at all and stumbels more than he walks, when i ask for a two room key for the us, she says the card key machine is down and she will walk us down to room 144 and open it up, and when we go out it's ok to just leave the "door ajar" I informed her that this is not acceptable, she said thats all she could do, but as soon as it does get fixed she will get us a Card key, me thinking fine, Lynne Assured us that the Tech' gets here early in the morn and we will have our keys, no going out on the town like we think just got a bunch of beers and right back to the room, Morning comes and around 8:15 am go done and ask for room keys, Julie the nice sounding voice on the phone is very different in person after i present the problem to her and the card keys still unresolved and the tech is not in yet? The 2 Stars I give for The Continental Breakfast and Dianne (the lady that runs this area) She deserves a Gold star one the best I've seen good stuff. Met Sammy in checking out, nice guy, thought he could have done more!? Back in the area today Friday, after our stay to talk to a manger, big mistake, met Wendy, Some Kinda Manager?? Now I was clear Why the other Ladies lied to me, Wendy, told me she had met me and talked to me that day of Checking out, and confirmed that the Card machines got Fixed promptly, at 7 am when she came in Sunday. As I was Walking out to my truck some guy messing with His cell phone, on the bench, ask me about how to get banking information, from USA bank, I informed I was old school and didn't Know how to do it, He says I think your lying and just brushing
me off as i try to tell him I'm not a liar and don't really Know how, Wendy comes out side, I guess she herd me say liar and thought I las complaning to him about them, say to stop and get off the property! May the 2 stars may be to generous..... David
