This restaurant is unexpected... you walk up the stairs and you are greeted by a lovely ambiance before you even enter the front door. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken promptly. The staff were very friendly and the owner was on hand to ensure everyone was being looked after. The restaurant was busy for a Wednesday night which gave it a very nice atmosphere. Tables are a little close together but this is true of allot of restaurants, especially in Dublin 15. The food was divine and really was the high point to the evening. We had smoked salmon and prawn Piri Piri (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) for starter and lamb and steak for main. Could not fault the presentation, taste, or service. The timing of each course was perfect, no delays but you also didn't feel like you were being rushed. We had the platter of desserts and they were very tasty, again the presentation was faultless. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can definitely say I will be dining here more often. They have some fabulous early bird menu options but even at full price you are getting value for money.
