Last fall, being Hispanic I came into an establishment I thought would look out for and treat Hispanics better. I am a disabled Vietnam vet and I was looking for legal assistance, for some financial issues I feel I m being taken advantage of. I explained to the legal counselor what the problem was and what exactly I was looking for. The counselor directed me to the Cuzydlo law firm. I talked to Mr. Cuzydlo explained the issue and Mr. Cuzydlo assured me he could resolve the problem. I signed a $1800.00 retainer agreement, now $4,000 later I am no closer to having the issue resolved. I just had open heart surgery and between the cost of medication, treatment, and the cost of living. I just don t think I can afford to pay him anymore and the issue is still ongoing and I m not sure what to do. I thought Cristo Rey would have used or sought out people, or businesses that would actually help rather than making a profit on the back of the disabled. I don t see where Cristo Rey helped anyone other than being able to SAY we sent you to someone. Very disappointed no real assistance for the Hispanic Veterans. Respectfully; Marcelino Gonzales
