I am loving my 12 week acute care pharmacy rotation here! The staff are all friendly and passionate about patient care. As a student, I get free coffee, free lunches during my work shift, access to the employee fitness center, and free employee parking. The parking lot has level 2 electric charging station outlets if you have electric cars. You just have to bring your charger to work with you. I am happy to see that there s a lot of interprofessional health care collaboration happening here as pharmacists get to participate in trauma code, critical care code, and code blue. This is an 80 bed hospital in rural Minnesota. There are some services that the hospital doesn t provide. In these cases, they find higher level care hospitals all over MN and the Dakotas then fly them out.
