I attended an IOP program for minors at the age of 16. Every hourly activity was disorganized and understaffed. There was very little opportunity for one on one assistance, and the group therapy sessions were too large (10+ kids) to truly accomplish anything. Several of my peers were misgendered every day of their time here, and bullying in group therapy was not dealt with. After discharging me too early, the program did not follow up or make sure I was in a safe environment with necessary steps going forward (such as individual therapy and medication). I struggled for years after attending their IOP program, when suffering could have been avoided if this facility did its job to even a mediocre standard.
