I leased a 2019 tacoma here on 7/5/2019 and had a very frustrating and misleading experience. Throughout the day negotiating I mentioned multiple times how I wanted to be certain the truck had apple car play. The sales person Patrick Browning confirmed each time that yes indeed the truck did have apple car play. My business partner was also present for the entire exchange over 5+ hours. At one point I even decided to go with the SR5 over the TRD and once again, asked to confirm the SR5 had apple car play as I was already informed that the TRD had it earlier. Again I was told YES, the truck has the feature as well.

Fast forward a few hours and the lease is done, it s 11pm and I hop in the truck. The salesperson Patrick Browning walks me through setting up this scout GPS app and I m a bit confused. I hop in and ask if I just need to plug the phone in like with the rental car I was driving. Then I m told yes as the guy drives off. Dealership closed, nobody to help.

So now I ve got this hokey scout GPS app to use, it s a complete joke compared to Google maps. Thanks a lot Suncoast Manager and Patrick Browning, if this is how you do business best of luck. You mislead me, plain and simple. We re not talking about some small detail you made a mistake on. It s APPLE CAR PLAY, and you know other vehicles such as the Rav 4, Camry etc that have it and the Tacoma clearly does not.

AVOID this dealer.
