I wish I could give a negative stars to this establishment. Their Loop Office placed me at a client (and lied about how great they were and that they placed three prior temps there) However, they neglected to say that those 3 were not there and I had to endure homophobic and verbal abuse. The final insult from Salem is that they blacklisted me from ever working there despite the fact that the assignment was Employee at Will (they can fire me) but Employee at Will is a two-way street and I can leave without notice. But being the professional that I was, I told Salem I couldn't stay there a minute longer and explained the situation. My Salem rep had the nerve to ask (after hearing what I had to say) if I could stay there just "a little longer?" I told her that if I did, they would definitely lose a client because I would fight back if I was abused again. Salem might have capability to place people on assignments, but don't care about those people. Not once did they ever ask how the assignment was going when I dropped off my timesheet.
