I have been a long time customer of Royal Oak charcoal. No more. For the past year or more the product has deteriorated to a point where it s just crumbles. The largest pieces are usually the rocks that don t belong there anyway. The crumbs don t want to light. I have owned two green eggs, two other smokers,, 3 Webers and a live fire bbq pit, and a home with 6 fireplaces and no gas logs. I know how to build a damn fire. Whoever is in charge of product quality is doing a terrible job, along with the CEO. It s charcoal, how complicated can it be?
