I recently opened an account with Merit Bank and I have to say, their service is average. It's not excellent, but it's not bad either. The website is easy to navigate and their customer support is responsive. However, the interest rates on their savings accounts could be better. Overall, I would say Merit Bank is a decent choice for basic banking needs.
