The place is crowded with people, work, machines and trash. You are expectie to be able to work around a bunch of skids on the floor. Definitely a trip hazard. You will be expected to handle chemicals that require gloves but none will be provided. The people that you will be trained by are rude at best. The owner of the company tries to get everyone in a happy State of mind about their work but he himself is part of the problem. He is not happy about being there as much as no one else is. They hire people for jobs that have no clue as to what is going on. Just because someone might be a outstanding citizen doesn't mean they know how to powder coat or capable of running a whole crew. The safety manager for a lack of better words is definitely a piece of work. Definitely a person who is in fear of losing his job. You are required to pass two drug tests to get hired on but what they don't tell you is that everything you do is subject to drug testing. Not a good place to work if you seriously want to pay your bills on time. If you are interested in short term work great place to work. The people that you will be working with are all back stabbers at best. The only people who have been with the company a long time are the people who are best at back stabbing. Most of the best work is produced by other companies and other people who are subcontracted to handle all the work that no one can do inside the company or they feel like it is just too much for them. I definitely feel sorry for some of the companies who have to use this service because if they spent a little bit of time looking around, they could find a much better company to do business with.
