Graham Penrose Review of Langham Boston

It was a flying visit to Boston of only 3 days and we were consumed with meetings and deadlines. In those circumstances the comfort of the property, the food, but most importantly the staff were a huge assist in helping us to navigate the tricky schedule. Special mention to Jared and Christopher on the front line at reception, the head bar man whose name I did not unfortunately catch, and the staff in the breakfast room. The chaps at the door in the signature bowler hats were always helpful and the concierge(s) an encyclopedia of local knowledge and advice. With my Irish roots I am always going to feel at home in Boston. To the the head bar man in the ground floor restaurant / bar - you are a gent and a scholar. To the charming lady who looked after us at breakfast, who hails from Bosnia Herzegovina, we had a blast chatting with you about travel. My sincere apologies for not checking out your ID badges for names which I suspect was down to the engaging conversations which distracted me!
Things to do close by: Walking the river, the Boston Market, the Financial District, the viewing platform on the Prudential Tower, the bars, and the restaurants were a joy. Uber service was excellent. The people charming and entertaining. I love this city. Special mention to The Banshee Bar in Dorchester. The food and the Head of Security at The Broadside. The music at Howl at the Moon.
