The best-preserved frontier military post I've seen. Every building is set up as if the cavalry just rode out for a patrol and will be back any moment.

Budget a couple of hours at least, and make sure you hit all the buildings (and the cemetery). It's a huge eye-opener to the material conditions American frontier soldiers lived with. 10/10 would visit again.
