I brought in a computer that wouldn't even boot up...

I brought in a computer that wouldn't even boot up to be repaired. The person who assisted me amiably answered questions regarding the likely cost of the repair, the likelihood of various causes for the problem given my description of how and when the problem arose, and the anticipated length of time before I could expect to receive a progress report on the repair.
The problem (failing hard drive) was identified within a day, and I received a call explaining the situation and a series of options of various costs (replace with one of two brand new hard drive models, or a less expensive used hard drive that they had checked out for any malware or malfunctions; and then copy my data onto that hard drive) I might choose before they went any farther with the repair. I had many questions for the employee to make the best decision for me, and our phone call lasted at least 15 minutes, but I never felt rushed to make a decision or condescended to over simple questions.
I picked up my computer two days later, and it is working better than before I brought it in, with all my documents and programs intact, and at a price I could afford. Thank you VGH!
