The greens, tee boxes and cart paths are all in great shape. Fairways are good, but still need to mature a little more. Rough is thick and healthy in many places. Healthy rough could be cut a little shorter in some places. Of course, if you stay in the fairway this is not an issue. Natural areas abound and you need to honor them. Sand traps have been replaced with hummocks (careful what you wish for), and they ask you to drop if you land in one. The course has its own golf app and it is pretty robust and helpful. It's like having an experienced caddy with you. The golf app I was using did not have the new course updated in its memory, so I would encourage downloading their application.
A few negatives. Ball dispenser is not next to driving range. They would not give out carts early, so you have to carry your bag and range balls to range and back to starter. Starter iPad not synced with register inside. Even though I paid and had a receipt, the starter did not show me as paid. The same thing happened to another golfer the next day.
Overall, a great improvement, a great course and a great value for county residents.
