Let's be real. A stay at a Westin hotel should be great; it's a luxury brand. However, things can go wrong - and they did - but during my stay, those were opportunities for the amazing people at Weston Reston to shine.

Of course, you'll love the comfy bedding, the weekend breakfast, and the spacious rooms. And likewise, COVID restrictions limit gym use and daily cleaning service, which can be made by schedule with the front desk.

Beware of the digital key system. It failed me a few times, leaving me locked out of my room. This technology needs some attention from the corporate IT team. And for the Apple TV lovers, the remote controls for the television and HDMI inputs are far from simple. You'll want to ask the engineer to come set things up.

The best part of my stay was appreciating the care and attention the people at Westin Reston put into their profession. Viridiana made it her personal mission to make sure I was happy; she's full of wonderful restaurant recommendations and will start your day with a smile! Gabby solved any problem I had with swift action and professionalism.

You'll want to stay at Westin Reston for the brand reputation, but you'll keep coming back because of the people who work here to make you happy.
