Anton Volkov Review of Alain Ducasse at Dorchester
Chef: Jocelyn Herland
Chef: Jocelyn Herland
The highlight of the restaurant is a special area that separates a table for six people from other visitors. Hundreds of hanging threads, in which 4,500 small bulbs are placed, serve as a curtain. Moreover, those inside can see what is happening indoors, but are almost indistinguishable from the outside for prying eyes. Immediately after its discovery in 2009, Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester was awarded two stars, and the next - the highest rating. Such a rapid take-off was largely created by the hands of Jocelyn Erland, who managed the restaurant s kitchen from the first visit of the visitor.
