I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED with JFK medical center ICU staff. The nurses, dietician, and one particular neurologist are BEYOND horrible! Non of them are approachable, they get irrigated when you ask them one simple question. My mother has been in the ICU for over a week. Like any normal person who is concerned and really has NO CLUE in what is going on. They get upset for caring about your own mother. When you ask them what are they doing or she looks like she is in uncomfortable they get upset and say "I know what I am doing and let me do my job". My family and I was not trying to take away from what they were doing. But were curious in what was going on. There is TOO MANY malpractice stories that goes on in the US. I REFUSE to let my mother be one of those cases because of their carelessness. Another thing that had my blood boiling is when her alarm would go off because there is something wrong happening .. Her nurse of be No where to find and all the other nurses passing by keeps going ( I understand each nurse has their own patient BUT the alarm is going off for a reason) The hospital motto of "Excellence" is a BIG JOKE.. Most of the nurses show through their expressions and attendance's to my mother that they DO NOT CARE. They are only here to clock in and out and do their mediocre job.
