This is a pretty small, older zoo. The animals appear well kept, but it has an older, dated appearance to it. This is not a flashy, newer Zoo.
You can probably go through here in an hour and a half or so. There are good information postings for the exhibits, and there are some interesting habitat changes as you walk through the area. My wife and I didn't mind it so much, but my kids were a little bit less impressed with this place.
If you are visiting the parks in Orlando, and have a few younger kids with you, I think there are better choices than this Zoo.
We did not feel that it, or that the food was particularly expensive. I would really like to give this three and a half stars, but I think I have to go with 3 because of how my kids felt about this place.
