I had my son here three years ago, my OB was awesome unfortunately she didn't happen to be working when I went into labor. Being a first time mom I had no idea what to expect, and they didn't keep me informed at all. I didn't know they were going to break my water until they did it, I didn't know what pitocin was for or why they were giving it to me, and I also wasn't told until afterwards that they wanted to do an emergency csection! without having any reason do one! It seemed like they were in a huge hurry since I wasn't at the hospital six hours before he was born. They rushed me along without letting me try different things like walking or moving around to induce labor, then once I was dilated to 10 cm they made me wait to push for 35 minutes before the dr that was working to get in. When he walked in he said he didn't think I was ready which is why he waited. The communication could have been SO much better, especially to me!!! I'm due with my second any day now and I'm actually impressed with the doctor and hospital I chose. I won't even go to McLaren's ER, they don't tell you what's up anyway you have to read the discharge papers to know anything. Huge waste of time
