john bader Review of Lane Alton and Horst
Lane Alton is the executor of our family estate.
Lane Alton is the executor of our family estate.
Lane Alton: Failed to meet its most basic fiduciary responsibility by filling with the IRS in a timely manner.
Lane Alton: Failed to recognize early that it would miss this goal and then hired a CPA firm to assist them 1 month after filing date was due.
Lane Alton: Paid, so far, the CPA firm $10,000 of beneficiary's money to correct their failure.
Lane Alton: Promised the filing would be completed by October or 5 months past the deadline. This did not happen forcing the beneficiary's to hire and outside law firm at the beneficiary's expense, to pressure Lane Alton to do their job.
Lane Alton: Finally, allegedly filed with the IRS in November but due to their failure in meeting their fiduciary responsibilities, the Beneficiary's will be responsible to the IRS for all interest, and penalties associated with Lane Altons failure.
For Lane Altons superior service (sarcasm) they awarded themselves over $30,000 of the beneficiary's money.
Lane Alton's failures have delayed the final distribution to the Beneficiary's by 7 months. Lane Alton had not been in contact with the Beneficiary's in 4 months prompting this review.
Lane Alton has failed us, and they will fail you too.
