The Nurse Manager was on a local radio station this morning talking about how she would rather support AMAZON vs small LOCAL shops because she has the option to shop around for prices . Another one of her points.... she s easier able to send family in California a gift via Amazon with little to no shipping costs. She must not realize California also has small businesses suffering and they would really appreciate the purchase of a gift card. She also noted how well big box stores are going to do this holiday season. She doesn t deserve ANY business in my opinion considering all her residents lived their whole lives in Hartford building it to what it is today. Sad. Very disappointed. Communities right now need to be helping each other. Please consider other nursing facilities for your family member... that understands the value of community.
